Knicks put out the Heat

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Days off a defeat at the hands of one of the league's worst, the New York Knicks defeated one of the league's best. It was a showcase of stars as NY's big three faced off with Miami's big three.

In the end, however, it came down to one star on each side: Stat vs. James. Down by 1 with seconds left, James drove the lane and was rejected by Amar'e. Seconds later, James again missed: this time from three point range.

For a game between two basketball teams loaded with offensive firepower, the affair was surprisingly low scoring. Dare one say: playoff-like? When the night was over, the Knicks had pulled out the win 91-86 in Miami.

Rounding up your game leaders: Melo scored 29; Amar'e grabbed 10 boards, Shawne Williams had 4 assists.
